Agricon announces head of engineering

Charlotte (NC), USA / Vechta, Germany – Marty Johnson has been appointed Head of Engineering Department at  Agricon, a division of Big Dutchman and the newly-established Big Dutchman brand for turn-key solutions. The division, headquartered in Charlotte (NC), USA, manufactures high-quality agri-housing for poultry and swine producers in over 60 countries worldwide from facilities in China, Europe, and Malaysia.

Marty joined Betco, Inc in 2012 as head of engineering for what was then known as the international division. He is a licensed professional engineer, registered in the state of South Carolina.

Prior to joining Betco, Marty was a structural engineer with Stantec, Inc. specializing in steel and concrete design for industrial and commercial structures.

Marty attended The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.
